John O. Dimowo, M.D., had his specialty fellowship training in Pain Medicine at the prestigious Emory University, Grady Memorial and Crawford Long Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to his training in Atlanta, he was at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles County Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, where he had his fellowship training in Anesthesia for Complicated Obstetric and Gynecological patients. Dr. Dimowo had his Anesthesia Residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He did his internship in pediatrics at the Medical University of Ohio.

He is an active member of several professional organizations which include: American Medical Association, American Society of Anesthesiology, California Society of Anesthesiologists, American Academy of Pain Medicine, International Spine Intervention Society, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology, and Urgent Care Association of America.

His passion lies in the care of patients with cancer, acute and chronic pain. Dr. Dimowo believes that no individual should suffer from any type of pain.
